MosesandBex

Our names are Moses and Bex Okotel and we’re passionate about meeting the needs of disadvantaged children - rescuing them from destructive cycles of poverty, lack of education and opportunity. And we’re supported in the task by the hardworking Sam Engichu, our programme director.

Moses was himself an Internally Displaced Person (IDP) at a very young age and understands the needs of children who have lost their homes through poverty, famine, war or civil unrest.

Bex moved to Uganda in 2006 to work with an English NGO, fell in love and has stayed ever since.

We’re
Christians and it’s our greatest pleasure to see children learn about the love of God and worship Him. We believe in values like family life, christian love, hope, faith in God... and the power of God to change situations.

It’s awesome and extremely rewarding to help rehabilitate hurting kids, provide hungry ones with food and help them regain self-esteem by ministering the love of God to them.

We’re only small but we have a big vision! Just started is our new Child of Hope Nursery and our approach to resettling orphans within families.
