Leaving a gift in your will to Child of Hope ensures that your beliefs and values continue to enable change in the Namatala slum through the work that we do, long into the future.
Your gift will help to transform lives of the children and families at the schools through education, welfare, nutrition, health and social care support.
If you are considering leaving a gift to Child of Hope in your will, please give your solicitor our details (Child of Hope, 35 Roman Road, Broadstone, Dorset, BH18 9DG. Charity number 1136068) and the amount of the gift or the share of your estate you would like to leave.
Wills are legal documents so it’s preferable to have a legally-qualified will writer or solicitor to draft it for you. Child of Hope is particularly grateful for unrestricted gifts in wills but if you would like to leave a legacy for a particular purpose, please contact us so that we can confirm that we can fulfil the purpose of the legacy.
Memorial Gifts
You may also wish to specify that if anyone wants to make a donation in your memory, it should be to support the work of Child of Hope. This can be a good way to celebrate your life and the values you hold dear.
If you don’t already have professional advice and would like help in writing your will, you might contact Steve Green of SMG Wills (01963 210766), who is a Chartered Legal Executive and member of the Society of Will Writers. Although Dorset-based, Steve can help you wherever you live by phone or video call. Steve will make a donation to Child of Hope when his service is used.
