Child of Hope is tackling the key barriers to a meaningful future for children living in slums in Eastern Uganda and their families. A Christian-based charity, it provides free education from its schools, healthcare and welfare to children from the poorest and most vulnerable families. Meanwhile, helping their mums start a small business helps lift the whole family out of the worst excesses of poverty.
