For many of the children we support, Christmas is just another day of hunger. No special meal. No treats. Sometimes no food at all. We want to change that, and with your help, we can!
Last year, your kindness helped us raise over £6,940, enough to give our pupils and their families a wonderfully festive Christmas meal and food parcels that made a real difference. Moreover, we were able to support our most vulnerable children with our food programme well into the new year.
This year, we'd love to do the same!
With around £5,300, we can provide:
A Christmas party for our poorest pupils and their families in Karamoja
A Christmas food parcel for every child across all our schools — more than 4,360 meals of rice and beef to feed whole families
Anything raised above this will go directly towards our food programme, helping the most vulnerable pupils, foster children, those with health conditions, and child-headed families.
The bags of food we give each child at Christmas provide enough rice and beef for their whole family:
£10 → two food bags (two meals for 12 people)
£25 → five bags (two meals for 30 people)
£50 → ten bags (two meals for 60 people)
£100 → helps multiple families and supports our food programme into 2025
