After losing his mother at birth, Peter was taken in by his grandmother. At that time, his father was providing little help, eventually giving up and disappearing from the village. Without support, Peter’s grandmother had little chance of giving him a better life. Thankfully, Child of Hope spotted the need and stepped in to save him.
Too young for nursery school, he was initially put on a nutritional programme and overseen by the welfare team. Once old enough, he entered the first nursery class. Peter, now in the top nursery class, is growing well in the care of his grandmother.
