We've had an exciting few weeks of sport recently at COH, with our students competing in the Mbale District interschool games – a competition involving over 20 schools, with teams working their way through school-level, quarter-finals, regionals, and ultimately nationals.
We are so proud of how our children have performed. In athletics, COH finished 5th out of 18 schools – most of which are much larger than us – and had the most students selected to represent their division!
Those students went on to compete at division level, and while they narrowly missed out on a place at the national competition, the achievement of getting that far is something to celebrate.
Behind all of this are some incredibly talented young people who train hard despite limited resources – from a shortage of boots and kits to restricted coaching support. Their dedication and skill shine through regardless, and we couldn't be prouder!
