It looks like he’s got a mean swing on that axe, but Rajab is a humble and quiet man who does great a great job for our school – helping the kitchen staff by splitting firewood into smaller pieces.

A fully-loaded truck arrives at our school every month, with wooden logs for the preparation of food for the children and staff. They are too big for carrying and cooking… and that’s where Rajab comes in.

He visits once a week to split and chop the logs into small pieces using a hand axe. It’s tiring and time-consuming work, but he relentlessly reduce them into sizeable firewood ready to be used.
