Orphaned as a small child and then abandoned by his carer, Elijah came to Child of Hope malnourished and sick. He was swiftly fostered by a member of staff, added to the nutrition programme, and admitted to the nursery reception class.
Now in Primary 4, he has grown into a strong boy who is doing well in class. Although he knows only a handful of his close relatives, he is happy, appreciating his foster parents as if they were his own and thriving in their family.
