On Saturday, some of our secondary students swapped the classroom for the fields — and brought in a brilliant harvest of cabbages and green peppers at our Himuntu farm.
The school cooks will use these homegrown veggies to supplement meals of beans and posho for our pupils. It's a simple yet powerful boost to nutrition — and a great way to combine learning with practical life skills, such as teamwork, sustainability, and food production.
Well done to all the students involved!
