Here’s an update from our Himuntu Farm, where our own-grown vegetable initiative is making a tangible difference in the lives of the children we support. What was once underutilised land is now a thriving hub of fresh produce, directly benefiting pupils at our two schools.

Just this week, the Himuntu Farm team harvested 56 cabbages, 18kg of green peppers, and 100kg of eggplants.

For the past two months, these fresh, nutritious vegetables have been incorporated into daily meals at both schools and is significantly boosting the nutritional value of every plate. The additional vitamins lead to a noticeable reduction in stomach problems among pupils, and the children are looking visibly healthier.

This initiative highlights the impact of sustainable programmes. By growing our own vegetables, we're not only providing essential nutrition but also fostering a healthier learning environment for hundreds of children. It's a wonderful example of how your support helps us create lasting, positive change.
