Many of the families we serve struggle to afford school shoes for their children. Last week, thanks to the kindness of volunteers Cassie and Adam from the UK (and the generosity of their friends and family!), nursery and primary pupils received donated shoes.
There were so many excited faces as children tried them on for the first time. For some, it was their very first pair of properly fitting school shoes.
Alongside the shoes, children also received clothes, with the football shirts proving especially popular!
We are so grateful for every act of kindness that helps our children feel confident, comfortable and ready to learn – thank you so much!
