The children at Child of Hope School are not only good at academics but many excel in extra-curricular activities like athletics too. Primary students recently participated in an inter-schools athletic competition and we got a glimpse of their special talents.
In the picture, Faith (she's second from the left… but you can hardly see her!) took part in the 50 metres sprint in the under-12 category and emerged winner of the race. Staff were thrilled by her speed. Faith and our other competitors were helped by the rest of the children, who were cheering like mad and morale-boosting all the way.
As a result, eight of our athletes were selected to represent the division in the upcoming inter-division municipality athletics.
