Additional individual support was given to Hope, a child in the nursery class, by her class teacher. The teacher has given her additional time outside of class to help her get to grips with phonics, so she is now able to write down sounds that previously baffled her.
This extra attention is valued by pupils who may be struggling to keep up. The teachers show care, love and understanding to these children to help them improve their performance. This additional support helps them to enjoy their time in class more.
