The Ugandan O Level results are in, and the Child of Hope pupils have done fabulously! 49% achieved passes at Division 1 or 2 (the highest grades) compared with 37% last year. We are also thrilled that nearly 97% of all the pupils who entered achieved passes.
Our Gill Sherlock Memorial Secondary School (GSMSS) is not yet a registered examination centre, so the pupils had to go to other local schools to sit the exams. This is recognised to be a disadvantage, so the pupils performed excellently under the circumstances! Work is underway to complete the registration process requirements, and it is hoped that in future our pupils will be able to sit their exams in a familiar environment.
