There was great excitement at Child of Hope Primary School this week as all the local instruments that have been bought using the Give and Learn Day funds have now arrived. UK schools have been taking part by hosting Child of Hope's unique sponsored Give and Learn Day, where the pupils all learn in the same way as they would if they lived in Uganda.

The instruments were all made to order using Ugandan craftsmen. There are a variety of instruments — harps, thumb pianos, pan pipes, tube fiddles, calabashes and shakers. Music lessons will now be far more enjoyable, and the instruments will also enable the children to take part in music competitions. P4 were the first class to use all of them. As you can see, they had great fun trying them all out and performing together!
