New short video... we are very proud of Agnes, one of our original nursery children who achieved the top results out of our secondary school students. She has done amazingly well, and we must admit — her aspirations to eventually give back to Child of Hope brought a tear to our eyes!

During our extra Covid activities in the Namatala slum, our family support team is constantly on the look out to help vulnerable people who cannot work for themselves and therefore struggle to buy food.

The resourcefulness of some children is impressive. Not sure when she will be able to begin her secondary education due to the current Covid closures – Dorcus has begun rabbit farming!

Many of the Child of Hope schoolchildren are coming up with productive ideas to spend their time while schools are closed and, at the same time, earn a small income. Lucas is making bricks!

Home teaching resources – prepared and personally delivered by teachers to our pupils in the Namatala slum during Covid lockdown – are allowing our students to continue their education.

Many of the older children from within the Namatala slum cannot just sit at home idle when their schools are shut; they look for ways to make some money. John found he could do that by making and selling chapatis.
