If you signed up for our E-newsletter, you will have heard about Jonathan, and we have more news!
Jonathan, is one of our cheerful P1 pupils, has been with us since baby class. He lives with his mum, dad (and a goat!) in a makeshift hut built from mud, wood, and tarpaulin. The structure is unstable, leaks in the rain, and offers little protection from mosquitoes, leaving him vulnerable to illnesses like malaria.
Despite these tough conditions, Jonathan never misses school and always has a big smile on his face. He even practises his maths using chalk on the wall of a neighbour's house! He's also part of our vulnerable food programme, ensuring he gets a nutritious meal each day.
The amazing news? After mentioning him in our latest E-news, Jonathan now has a sponsor – and a generous donor has also made a sizeable contribution towards repairing his home! But… we're still £250 short.
Could you please help by donating towards the remaining amount?
If you'd like to contribute, please donate here and use the reference 'Jonathan's hut' or send us a message to let us know you've donated. Any amount will help!
Thank you so much – any extra funds received will go towards helping other children in need.
